One In Christ

To be one with Christ, is to be one with each other.
Obeying the word of God makes us family to Jesus and each other.
“Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” 49 And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12)
Trusting the apostles words spiritually unites us with God and each other.
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. (John 17)
Being united with Christ makes us part of his body. To be Christian is to be part of a church. Christians who are not part of a church are as healthy as an organ outside a body!
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free – and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many. (1 Corinthians 12)
Let us live our unity in Christ by,
being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit…4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. (Phil 2)
